is the new home on the web for SUNYConnect. The site includes news and updates, background information, links to SUNYConnect resources, the financial plan and a SUNYConnect timeline. As SUNYConnect databases are added, as progress is made on LMS implementation planning, SUNYConnect needs its own place on the World Wide Web. A major role for the web site is to provide information on the program and its progress. The SUNY Office of Library and Information Services also sees this site as supplementing the work done by librarians and other web gurus around SUNY. Your students naturally look to your campus and library web sites as one of their starting points for research. www.sunyconnect.suny.edu provides a secondary access point. SUNY OLIS appreciates the mention of SUNYConnect initiatives now found on many SUNY library web sites. http://olis.sysadm.suny.edu will still be used for other OLIS initiatives, for information on other OLIS programs and policies. Library Automation Implementation Program (LAIP) information, for example will continue to be offered up via the OLIS web site. Please verify that your library links to SUNYConnect information point to the new web site.
